Offences during the torchlight procession on the occasion of the 111 anniversary of the birth of one of the leaders of the organization of Ukrainian nationalists Stepan Bandera in the center of Kiev on Wednesday, not fixed, reported in the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine.

“It (the torchlight procession – if) was attended by about 1,000 people. 250 law enforcement officers ensured public security and order”, – stated in the message on the website of the Ministry on Facebook Wednesday night, citing law enforcement authorities of the capital.

The police said that irregularities in the conduct of the torchlight procession is not fixed.

Earlier it was reported that a torchlight procession on the occasion of the 111 anniversary of the birthday of Stepan Bandera was held in the center of Kiev on Wednesday evening.

According to “Gromadska” in the procession was attended by about 1,500 people.

Among the participants, in particular, were the representatives of the party “all-Ukrainian Union Freedom”, “the Congress of Ukrainian nationalists” and “Right sector”. The procession was accompanied by the orchestra.

Participants chanted: “Stepan Bandera thrice glory, glory, glory” and “Our earth – our heroes”.
