Partial suspension of the laboratory in Los Angeles will last for three months. The decision was taken due to the fact that WADA questioned the quality of UCLA. Such a move, the press service of the international agencies should assure athletes that check the doping tests conducted at the highest level.

UCLA for three months will not be able to check athletes for some substances, including glucocorticoid prednisolone, prednisone, and anabolic steroid boldenone. In the case that the doping samples will be discovered, these substances, UCLA should seek a second opinion at another lab, accredited by WADA. While UCLA may check samples for all other substances.

For three months, when there will be a suspension, WADA will verify the laboratory. In the absence of any claims UCLA will be able to return to work full time 17 Sep 2017 .
