South Donbass conduit, which was previously impaired due to the shelling by illegal armed groups.

South-Donbas water supply working again at full capacity and provides water to the population of Donbass.

It is reported by Ukrainian Pravda with reference to the Ukrainian side of the JCCC.

“The 15th of June, the commissioning of the South Donbass conduit was completed. Pumping station first lift conduit is working again at full capacity and provides water to the population of Donbass”, – stated in the message.

This station is one of the Central objects in the water system of the region.

As emphasized by the military, this station, like other critical ecological infrastructure of Donbass is under special attention of the ATO to prevent any violations of the ceasefire, even when the APU is necessary to open fire .

“All these objects have a constant security guarantees from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, while by the IAF ORDO such guarantees do not exist. Therefore, it is difficult to predict how long the pump station can operate in a regular mode”, – said the Ukrainian side of the JCCC.

As you know, June 10, in the fighting in Yasynuvata district near the village of Vasilyevka in uncontrolled Kiev territory the damage occurred two high-voltage power lines and transformer substations that led to the termination of electricity supply to the pumping station first lift Yuzhnodonbasskaya aqueduct.

This pump station provides water to 4 filtration plant on the territory controlled by Ukraine: Carlo (C. Karlivka), Velikoanadolsky (Ukraine), Stary №1 and №2 (Mariupol).

Consequently, without centralized water supply for several days they lived 72 localities (388 thousand) in the intercession, Selidovsky, Volnovakha, dobropil’s’kyi, Maryinka districts of the region and the village of Aleksandrovka.
