SPLIT /Croatia/ 7th of April. /Spec. Q. TASS albert Starodubtsev/. Russian weightlifter Diana Stieva serving in the weight category up to 94 kg, has won Russia’s third gold at the European Championships in the Croatian split. Previously, to achieve success at the European championship managed Natalia Khlestkina (to 58 kg) and Anastasia Romanova (up to 69 kg).

European championship in split was for 22-year-old girl was the first international tournament at senior level. The sum of the two exercises – snatch and clean and jerk – Stieva raised 241 kg (109 in the snatch and 132 in clean and jerk). Awards of the European championship in this weight category are played for the first time.

Second place went to the representative of Ukraine Valentina dogwood (240), the third Armenian weightlifter Tatev Hakobyan (230 ).

In April 2016 Mschievous expired two-year period of Ineligibility for anti-doping rule violation.

The European championship will end on April 8, in the framework of the tournament left to play four sets of medals.
