“Kinorob” prodolzhaet active work on the adaptation of the historical drama “Anne of Kiev”/”Anna de Kiev” (working title), a joint production of Ukraine (Kinorob) and France (Dada Films).

“Now finalizarea working on the script and approved the main part of the crew,” – said on the official page of “Kinorob” in Facebook.

Shooting is scheduled for summer-fall 2018 in France and Ukraine. In wide release film will be released in 2019.

The film is based on the historical novel of the French writer Jacqueline Doxa “Anna of Kiev, Queen of France.”

The Director of the film will be a three-time winner of the award “Cesar” Yves Angelo, and operator – Sergey Mikhalchuk.

“The historical figure of Anna Yaroslavna full of enormous energy, and today as 1,000 years ago, attracts attention and is often the subject of historical debate in modern Europe . Our film aims to give a comprehensive answer on the origin of the Duchess of Kiev – Queen of France,” – said the producer of the project Oksana Melnychuk.
