Hungarian budget airline Wizz Air during 1-4 November, 2019, has performed its first flight from Odessa to Budapest (Hungary), Berlin (Germany), gdańsk, wrocław, Katowice (Poland) and Bratislava (Slovakia).
As reported by the press service of the airline, the flights on these routes will be operated twice a week. The cost ranges from UAH 429 one way with hand Luggage.
“Remaining faithful to the Ukrainian market, we are very happy to start flights from Odessa. With the launch of flights to Slovakia, Poland, Germany and Hungary Wizz Air continues to open for Ukrainian passengers new opportunities for travel and to make air travel more accessible. We are confident that the launch routes will continue to contribute to the development of the economy, aviation and tourism in these countries”, – quotes the press service of the Manager of corporate communications at Wizz Air the Paulina Gosk.
As reported, from March 2020 Wizz Air launches flights from Zaporozhye to Gdansk, Wroclaw, Krakow (all – Poland), Vienna (Austria), Vilnius (Lithuania) and Budapest (Hungary).
Wizz Air, the largest low-cost carrier in Central and Eastern Europe, offers flights on more than 600 routes with 25 bases, connecting to 145 destinations in 44 countries. The fleet consists of 120 Airbus A320 and Airbus A321.
By the end of 2019, the company intends to carry 40 million passengers on all routes.
Wizz Air shares listed on the London stock exchange and included in FTSE 250 and FTSE All-Share Indices.
