Wizz Air, one of Europe’s largest budget airlines, has postponed the launch of flights from Kiev to Leipzig (Germany) from 5 July to 9 August.
As the data in the reservation system, the first departure from Kiev (Zhuliany) is scheduled for 9 August at 13:00, back from Lepcha (Halle) – 14:45 local time.
The flights will be operated twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. The planned duration of the flight is just over two hours.
The cost of one ticket is 1300 UAH in one direction.
As reported, Wizz Air is considering the possibility to resume the work of Ukrainian subsidiary, “Wizz air Ukraine” in 2019, and plans to 2025 to invest $2.5 billion to increase the Ukrainian fleet of 20 new Airbus A320 and Airbus A321.
Wizz Air, the largest low-cost carrier in Central and Eastern Europe, offers flights on more than 600 routes with 27 databases, connecting to 145 destinations in 44 countries. The fleet of the airline consists of 89 aircraft, Airbus A320 and Airbus A321.
Wizz Air shares listed on the London stock exchange and included in FTSE 250 and FTSE All-Share Indices.
