MOSCOW, March 5. /TASS/. Old Irina and Daria Virolainen became part of the national team of Russia on biathlon world Cup stage in Finnish Kontiolahti. About it reports a press-service of the Russian biathlon Union (RBU).

Composition of the women’s team looks like the following: Tatyana Akimova, Old, Irina Plugin, Victoria Slivko, Virolainen, Ekaterina Shumilova.

The men are Anton Shipulin, Evgeny Garanichev, Anton Babikov, Maxim Tsvetkov, Matvey Eliseev, Dmitry Malyshko.

“We expect Alexander Povarnitsyn, Alexey Volkov and Alexander Loginov will first take part in the IBU Cup, which will take place in otepää , and then will start on the final world Cup stage in Holmenkollen, – said the chief coach of the Russian team Alexander Kasperovich. – We have increased the women’s team to six people, because in Kontiolahti have two relays.
