The organizers of the women’s Rogers Cup has decided to postpone the tournament. This was reported on the official website of the competition. Matches were to be held in Montreal from 7 to 16 August.
Because of coronavirus in the province of Quebec has banned mass actions until August 31, which makes hosting the tournament impossible.
The WTA organizers are discussing with a possible date of the competition.
Recall that ATP and WTA has suspended all competitions until June 13.
