MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. Yevgeny Yevtushenko expressed his willingness to write a song for Alla Pugacheva. He stated this at a press conference in TASS, held as a teleconference Moscow – Tulsa (United States). Since 1991, Yevtushenko has lived in the United States and teaches at the University of Tulsa.

“Sure, I’ll try to do that. So if she gives me a little signal, I’ll write a song for her – said Yevtushenko. – Because I think it’s the human way, I completely understand.” “She is a wonderful talented woman, said the poet .- I love and can listen to as many of her song “Old clock”.

Yevtushenko said that he had once proposed to Alla Pugacheva to sing with him the song of the music of Maurice Jarre’s “Lara’s Waltz” from the movie “Doctor Zhivago”. “When I wrote the words to the tune of the waltz, I proposed to Alla Borisovne to sing with me the first performance, but it was something then a voice,” he said .
