Juniors received a prize for winning the world Cup.

Today, March 9, at the Kiev national operetta theatre held a solemn awarding of laureates of all-Ukrainian ceremony “Heroes of sports year 2019”.

“Heroes” award in nine different categories. The Ukraine national U-20 football became a winner in nomination “the Best team according to the game types”. Team Alexander Petrakova produced the historic victory in the world Cup. At the ceremony attended by two players – Giorgi Chitaishvili and Valeriy Bondar, and also the coach.

Among the other contenders were the men’s team of Ukraine on basketball 3×3 U-23, they became the silver medalists of the world championship U-23. Also for the prize fought men’s national team of Ukraine in volleyball, which reached the quarter-finals of the European championship.
