This was reported by the official representative of the Secretary General Stefan Dujarric, answering the question TASS about the purpose of the visit of Feltman in Moscow.

“Jeffrey Feltman is in Moscow he will take part in Moscow conference on international security, where he will deliver a message from the Secretary-General, and will also hold a number of bilateral meetings”, – said Dyuzharrik.

Earlier, the Russian foreign Ministry said that Feltman met with Deputy foreign Minister Oleg Syramalotau and discussed with him improving the efficiency of the activities of the antiterrorist structures of the United Nations and the implementation of the programmes of the world organization to combat new challenges and threats in Central Asian region .

VI Moscow conference on international security organised by the Ministry of defence of the Russian Federation, will be held April 26-27. It is planned that it will be discussed issues of combating international terrorism, security challenges in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, as well as “the role of the military departments to strengthen security in different regions of the world.” The forum expects the participation of 700 guests from 72 countries, including more than 20 defense Ministers.
