The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in the course of the working visit to Odessa region presented the new head of the Odessa regional state administration – entrepreneur Maksim Kuts.

The new head of the region appointed by presidential decree No. 746 / 2019 dated 11 October, published on the website of the President.

By another decree (No. 745/2019) Zelensky was fired from the post of acting head of Odessa regional state administration Svetlana Shatalova.

As reported, on 9 October, the Cabinet approved draft decrees of the President of Ukraine on appointment of heads of Odessa and Ternopil regional state administration. The government considered the draft decree on the appointment of heads of regional and district state administrations. Among them – offer of appointment to the post of head of the Odessa regional state administration Kuts and head of Ternopil regional state administration Igor of Nozzles.

Kuts, Ukrainian businessman and a former police officer. The ultimate beneficiary of investment company “Service management”, two advertising agencies: “Media partner” and “Digital partnership” and construction company “city-Building”.

A graduate of the National Academy of internal Affairs, some time after graduation worked in the Ministry of the interior. He is 36 years old.
