The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that he is not to appoint businessman Andrei Andreichikova head of the Odessa regional state administration (RSA), and intends to hold to this position competition.
At a meeting on issues of development of seaports of Ukraine on Saturday in Odessa, answering the question of those present, whether appointed as the new head of the Odessa regional state administration, Zelensky said, “not Today”,
“We have an idea about this… due to the fact that a lot of sources something on Andreichikova write, I really want something, at least one proof… a lot of people that manipulate the media, so I think we will make a decision. We had a very good experience in Lviv region, we found there a very powerful people… I don’t think we can risk in Odessa, even by Andreichikov, whom I personally know. That is, we will hold a competition in Odessa. Because of the competition. Because it is a very important mission, and we don’t want you, the citizens of Odessa, to bring” – said the President of Ukraine.
Zelensky said that he personally knows Andreichikova, and this decision does not concern him.
As reported, on June 26 the Cabinet of Ministers at the meeting supported the designation of eight heads of regional state administration, whose candidacy was proposed by President Zelensky. In particular, the head of the Odessa regional state administration invited to nominate Andrew Andreichikova.
